The Mana World

The mana world is a mmorpg that is opensource. It is a 2d anime'ish style game that reminds me alot of good older 16 bit games like chrono-trigger or phantasy stars 4, without the turn based gameplay. In Ubuntu Linux you can install this game with a simple "apt-get install tmw" without quotes. They have ports for windows, mac, linux, freebsd and netbsd (and probably whatever else you can compile it on). Their website is http://themanaworld.org/. Come check out this great game.
