The wolfenstein series has been around for quite some time, before doom or quake, but this game is a more modern game of course in actual 3d using the quake 3 engine. The game was developed by Splash Damage as a freeware online multiplayer game that was based off objective gameplay like Return the Castle Wolfenstien. The game supported the ability for mods and was typically very well recieved. It is able to run on windows, mac and linux, and completely free to download and play. If you like world war shooters, you will like this game. It's no call of duty, but it is rather nice for the price tag.
